“2010 IHRA NITRO JAM”

The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) was in town and with them came a completely new format of racing--The 2010 Nitro Jam. This series has eight Nostalgia Funny Cars (Prostalgia), four Top Fuel Dragsters, four A/Fuel Dragsters (Pro Fuel), a couple of nitro Harleys, and the insane jet trucks of Les Shockley.
The racing was pretty decent with Bobby Lagana winning both nights of Top Fuel action, Greg Jacobsmeyer and Steve Nichols winning Prostalgia, and Bill Evans winning both nights of Pro Fuel.
We also prepared detailed pit reports from the event for Speedzone Magazine.
